For me it was college, I am a year away from finishing and it is hard as shit. Thanks to college I had literally no free time, I am so glad this period in my life is soon to be over and I can move on to bigger and greater things. Plus I wasn't active on here for like 2 years and in the mean time everyone left T.T , so which was the hardest for you guys?
lets hope so. after college, u have to find a job. Yes, a fucking job where u wake ur ass up every morning and pretend that u like what u doing for a few bucks an hour.

After i finished with college, I hated having to hunt for a job. I picked up a few jobs here and there but they were only gigs that lasted a few weeks or 2 months. Then I got my ass fired.

Anyways, college is such a waste of time. I'm making $20,000 a month on my own. I have my own business. I'm about to start another business and I'm hoping to make a shit load more. Seriously, I wasted 8 years of my life in college. and I wasted another 2 years working for shitty companies that pay me in peanuts.

I know. But my school (and I think quite a few other schools in my area) stress a lot on the importance of being a well-rounded person, and it kinda sucks for me because my passions do lie in the humanities and English. Also video editing, but I let the opportunity go to waste like a bish, but maybe I'll make up for it in further education. Maybe.

ya i think the video editing skills stand out more than the English or humanities.

Sadly, I didn't take the opportunity to take computing (which is the subject where video editing comes up in at my school), but I instead took textiles to be the "enriching" subject out of my three choices. I'm such an idiot. I start my new course with my chosen subjects in September. I'm not bad at textiles, but I should've gone for computing. T.T My other two choices were geography and sociology, because I'm good at humanities and I'm interested in it. Of course, there's the compulsory English, maths, science, PRE (philosophy, religion and ethics) and a second language. And I'm currently fearing for my future because teachers are really stressing on the whole "you need varied skills" and "employers look for well-rounded and artistic people", etc, etc.

Though, I don't think the subjects I chose affect what subjects I can take in further education, so if I decide not to go down the psychology route (unlikely, tbh) then I think I can make up for it and go down the video editing route.

But, tbh, what am I going to do with video editing? I don't think Taylor Swift would hire me to make her videos~?

Unfortunately, my only skills and passions lie in English, humanities, video editing (why did I drop IT, goddammit), Tumblr and Nintendo games, so not sure what's going to happen. :/

Plus, I don't really have any real life/social skills.
I want to get a job in the field of psychology when I grow up~

when she was little, both our parents used to compare me and her a lot and they would say I'm the stupid one and she's smart.

She was smart, I'm not gonna lie. I agree with that totally. She was extremely smart when she was younger and she skipped grades cause she was that much smarter than most people at her age. You can tell her, what is 4359830454 x 657 and she would give you an answer almost immediately and I would have to check my calculator to see if she got it right and she always did.

She was known as the smartest kid I knew. Like when i introduced her to my friends and I would say she is really really smart you can ask her anything and she knows it and my friends who were a lot older would ask and be surprised that she knew the answer to calculus questions. I mean I was like 5 years older than her and she was already smarter than me. She was smarter than most of her teachers too.

But i havent talked to her in a very long time. Like 15 years or something. I recently got back in touch with her and she got a degree at a very prestigious school and she has been working for like 5 years or more. But she makes close to minimum wage!!!!

How can someone that smart not have a job making 200,000 a year or something? I think it all goes down to the fact that you don't really need education to have a successful career. You need to have real life/social skills. I mean some education is fine but it's really up to how likable you are and if you do your job well or not. It's easy to get bullied for being smart and having people tell you to do their homework. When you're that smart, you're pretty much a tool to other people who want to take advantage of you. I think she can't find a good job because she probably has a low esteem and maybe she has something against authority. This really sucks for her cause I remember when she was little and her parents would say that she will grow up to be something really special. Yet she is making a little more than someone who has just graduated high school.

I feel kind of sorry for her parents cause I remember they used to invest lots of time and love into her. But what can you do now right? Just love her for her and don't set the bar too high. The moral of this story is to do whatever you love to do not what you were told to do.

Why are you taking summer class? TT_TT
My school requires me to take 9 credits of summer classes from a state college in order to graduate. I guess it doesn't matter that I've been taking summer classes since freshman year at my hometown's community college >:(
