I have decided to make this thread to keep you all updated without posting a new thread every few weeks about the comeback.
The first information about this comeback has been given to us by Heo Young Saeng himself. During Young Saeng's fanmeeting in Seoul on the 29th, he mentioned that SS501 often talks about doing a comeback. Since Hyunjoong and Jungmin are currently in the army, they're planning on doing a sub unit comeback (like with U R Man) first to pay respects to their fans who have waited so long. After that they will continue discussing a full 5 member comeback like they promised.
Later it was confirmed by the other members, as wel as CI Entertainment.
On January 1st, 2016, CI Entertainment released a teaser and project. The project was very simple: They want fans to send in ideas for a comeback cheer poster:

We are currently seeking a comeback cheer poster.
- Qualifications: TripleS all over the world
- How to participate: Please send to [email protected] including NAME, CONTACT INFORMATION, PHOTOS such as an example image.
- Participation Period: 2016. 01. 01 (FRI) ~ 2016. 01. 31 (SUN)
On January 13th, CI ENT released a teaser photo
All videos are associated with the Double S 301 it will be uploaded to CI ENT Youtube. You can quickly view the most recent videos if you sign the CI ENT YouTube channel subscription.

According to Ci ENT, SS301 will release a minialbum called "ETERNAL 5".
The Album will be released online on tuesday, Feb 16th, at precisely 00:00, and offline on the same day (without a specific time). Pre-orders start tomorrow, on Jan 21st.

Omg, I'm so happy and sad at the same time that our soldiers couldn't make it right now but it's okay because they're gonna slay as a duo and my 5 angels will be back together.
