anjel5521 I think it'd be helpful for users to be be able to see their most recent posts/threads. It'd be cool if this were accessible from the profile, and if other users could view it too.

In case your friends like to stalk you.
Or you like to stalk yourself.
:nervous:

justvagina A place we can update statuses and a place where people can leave messages on...
It will be a lot easier to converse with friends if we have a space of our own. :)

anjel5521 I'm not sure if there's an option for this I'm missing but I think it'd be helpful to have alerts for when a person quotes you in the forum. An alert whenever someone thanks you would be cool too. Also, tags would be a nice way to alert someone when you want to talk to them in a thread.

Aerie I figured I'd leave my feedback here now that I've gotten used to the site and see how things have been.

First off, I like the layout. It has a sleek feel to it. It's simple, but has a modern look.
I think the what's new bar works more effectively than other forums. It can prevent spam by making previous threads active and noticed.
The smileys. Are. AMAZING. I don't think you can top them much at all.
I think the thank feature works just as well as other rep systems.
The amount of prefixes, to me, shows that this forum is intended to be open minded and respects that people have an opinion, no matter if it's negative or positive. There will always be few who might not appreciate the negative side of things, I believe it allows the forum to go far. It definitely has a great upside to it.

I think that's what I'd like to give my feedback on as of now. Do you agree? ^^

Gyopo So the current messaging is confusing and after only a short conversation you have like a hundred Re:, it's really messy. Not to try to turn this place into AKP, but the pm on there was very easy to use and I like how it was laid out. Maybe a PM similar to that, where you can see past replies instead of having to leave just a single message each time would be an improvement IMO

anjel5521 I wasn't sure if I should post this in this section, but in addition to the tutorial I have some comments. It's a short tutorial xD
Someone had asked about how to rate pictures yesterday, and so it struck that it might be confusing figuring out how to rate selcas at first. It took me a few minutes to figure it out myself. I had no idea what that menu at the top was for at first, or I was ignoring it, idek lol. Eventually figured it out :P

Well here's what you do.
You just click the "Selcas" thing in the top menu bar and then you get a photo. From here it's really simple.

http://i.imgur.com/C5Hx0fn.png

Now be nice and hit "Daebak" for bunches of people and don't be mean and give out 1s for no reason. >.<
Once you hit that you'll get another random picture to rate. Also, you will be featured in that box at the bottom which tells you all the people that rated and what they rated. Cool, right?

Also, make sure you upload selcas and rate them cause you get points and it keeps the community fun and active~

Feedback time:

I think it might help to put a "Rate" title just above so people have an idea of what they're doing. Although it seems pretty intuitive, sometimes it's actually not, lol.
I think the tags in the left sidebar are REALLY cool as well as the drop down menu to select categories.
The new selcas on the sidebar are fantastic as well, it helps me to quickly jump to things I haven't already rated.
Love love love the big box that tells you what the photo is rated overall. It gives me a good sense of what other people thought and sometimes it guides my rating (if I haven't already rated myself).
The layout is very clean and organized and I like it a lot.

One thing that I didn't like was that I didn't have the option to skip selcas I didn't want to rate and just move onto a random one. If you've already rated something it's nice because you get the option to skip over it, but if you haven't then you HAVE to rate the selca in order to move on. I don't like this because sometimes I'm tempted to give a photo a low rating and I would rather just skip it than give out a low rating lol. Idk, maybe I'm too nice, but I feel like a skip button would give people the option to be less harsh, if they so please. :3
The disqus comments are nice but I find myself less likely to comment on photos because I have to make an account or link it to one of my other social networks. It's good for people that use them though I don't personally like it much. But idk, maybe I'll make an account so I can comment, haha.

kdragonkwon Sorry if this has been suggested already, but I couldn't see it in the list. As we are able to bookmark threads here, is it possible for you to make it easier for us to view the list of threads we've bookmarked? It's a bit of a pain at the moment and not obvious. Maybe add it in along the top where there are links for:

View unanswered posts / View unread posts / View new posts / View active topics

This would be particularly helpful for people who spend a lot of their time in the artist threads to get to the ones that are relevant to them easily.

Thank you!

Aerie Hello! This will be my last thread (and possibly post) of the night, so I wanted to dedicate it to something that I think could be of use to members here. As you know, I've moderated akp before and watched certain patterns that the forum posed, trying to figure out ways to fix that. This might not help everyone, but if a few chipped in then it could help better the forum experience! So without further ado, I'll give you tips of mine that would prove worthy of helping :)

Tip #1 - Use the Activity Bar to Your Advantage!
Unlike 1H and AKP, this forum possesses a unique sidebar that works a different way than the what's new. Whereas the what's new provided you the enlightenment of new threads being released, the activity bar displays the thread with the newest post. This shouldn't be exploited, but rather used as a way to correct boredom that may ensue.

Search through sections that display under the activity bar and find a thread (or your threads for that matter) that can chip in a few comments and activity within it. Just giving an example, if there was nothing going on, you can post in or bump your SNSD vs 2NE1 thread in an attempt to generate /something/. People like watching over things that interest them, and certain threads do that.

Tip #2 - Search, not create!
As discussed in the previous tip, searching is a valuable asset to this forum. If you're feeling like talking about a certain topic, use the thought of looking for the thread in mind and post in it, bumping the thread up the activity bar for others to see. This is not saying that you shouldn't create threads ( because you should. )I'm generally speaking that if people gave the effort to keep threads that were already previously made alive, we wouldn't have to create topics so much. It adds a boost to the site if you can bring back threads to be talked about again.

Tip #3 - Don't hold back!
Unless you don't feel like posting, there should be no reason for you to hold back replying to a thread. Even if it doesn't give you a thank, or provide discussion, or starts a quote train, it gives you the feeling of not having to care over what topics you'd rather post in. The important part about keeping a community alive is activity within /and/ throughout areas of the forum. If people acted the same way you might, we might not even have a forum to enjoy to begin with. Make the extra step and post more. Who knows, maybe it'll benefit you. ^^

--

That's my tips for tonight. I hope that it helps somewhat. ^^ If not, I'm happy to have tried to help. I enjoy having people around me and when everyone is into it, there's nothing to worry about. :)
